This elegant contemporary necklace was hand made by a artisans in Jaipur, India. Delicately hued lozenges of pale green chalcedony, considered a sacred stone by the Native American Indians, have been hand-cut into many-faceted gems, each one an individual. The silver chain is handmade and each link is soldered.
Traditional beliefs hold that chalcedony is a powerful cleanser; increases lactation and fosters the maternal instinct; increases physical energy and decreases the ill effects of senility and dementia as well as healing the eyes, gallbladder, bones, spleen, blood and circulatory system.
It has been used by healers to assist telepathy, absorb negative energy and harmonise mind, body, and spirit.
It is further believed to instill generosity and promotes brotherhood and good will.
